Multi - Camera Systems

We understand the challenges that a church faces when integrating a live streaming camera system into their space. The need for multiple cameras can create a complex “front end” to the system that places technical demands on the personnel operating the equipment.

This is why NYAV designs multi-camera video streaming and recording systems utilizing touch screen technology. You can control up to six programmable cameras, all via one touch screen.

Live streaming camera systems installed by NYAV are broadcast quality and covered by commercial warranty. Each one is specially designed to meet the needs of your specific church.

Video Display

Invite your congregation to join in an immersive worship experience by sending video content from computers and cameras to multiple displays or broadcast  a live video stream from the main sanctuary to smaller worship areas such as multi-purpose gyms, chapels, student centers and other similar spaces, displays can support overflow and extend the capacity of the worship service. Services can reach broader audiences and spread the good word even farther!


Houses of worship can range from small, storefront spaces to much larger venues accommodating a wide range of crowds and activities.  As you would expect, the complexity and needs of the AV system grow commensurately.

From the main sanctuary or auditorium to the lobby and internet viewers, routing the proper audio and video from a wide range of cameras, digital signage players, and more needs to be easy, seamless, and reliable.

Bethany United Methodist Church
A Neo-gothic church predating 1889, the fine people at Bethany Methodist Church understand the value of integrating high quality, low profile technology into a traditional worship room. When you have an Odel organ and woodwork from 1919 you take your installation seriously! NYAV seamlessly blended into this space four 75” HD LCD screens for Hymnal lyrics with an Atlona 2 input, 8 output video matrix for future expansion and full flexibility. In addition, a new QSC digital mixer, JBL professional amplification and 6 speaker zones all enclosed in a Cheif roll-top security AV equipment Rack in Cherry Wood finish.
Eastchester Presbyterian Church
The mission of Eastchester Presbyterian Church is to bring people into the family of God by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to achieve this mission a way to reach congregation members both in the building and all over the world is needed. For this beautiful modern contemporary worship NYAV designed and installed the perfect digital signage, HD projection and multi-camera live streaming systems. Projection is handled in full HD at 7500 lumens by two NEC projectors mounted on Chief angled ceiling interface brackets shining brightly on dual electric 9’ Dalite screens. For additional displays throughout the church we utilized three 75” UHD 4K Samsung LCD on articulating wall mounts and an Atlona video distribution system extending into both the worship room and the basement recreation room, for congregants that choose not to attend the service from the worship room. Live streaming is facilitated by 4 Vaddio UHD PTZ Cameras all controlled via a 27” touchscreen monitor recalling presets as quickly as you can tap a thumbnail. Paired with a UHD 21” iMac computer with 2tb of SSD storage, this system will be future-proof for years to come.

Trinity Church
With roots dating back to 1696, the current cathedral was completed in 1846, Trinity Church Manhattan is the oldest church in New York City and is considered by some to be the first and finest example of Gothic Revival architecture. NYAV was contracted to provide a very special service: Mounting eight Seervoreeler controlled retractable Schoeps microphones for The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, high above the 60’ domed cathedral ceiling, in the attic space housing the cat walk to the famous bell spire. Precision measuring instruments were used to determine the exact placement of the penetrations through the ceiling in this National Historic Landmark, so that the microphones could be lowered from far above when needed. We were honored to be part of this historic church.
St. Josaphat
For over 110 years, St. Josaphat parish in Bayside Queens, has been leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. NYAV was proud to supply an elegant, low visibility, high quality sound system that seamlessly blends into this artisan hand painted worship space, and sounds crystal clear. JBL Pro speakers and amplifiers will serve this parish well into the next 110 years! Emmanuel Baptist Church
This Gothic style, multi-story cathedral church opened on April 17, 1887. When contacted by the on site AV staff to facilitate the installation of an HD video distribution system for 7 rooms in this 10,000 square foot historic landmark cathedral, NYAV brought the experience need to pull thousands of feet of shielded CAT6, between brilliant Samsung displays and connect it all with Atlona HDBaseT technology.
River Church NYC
Operating in a large multi-purpose single floor space, NYAV was tasked with designing a system that suited all the purposes of a modern open and inclusive worship space, on a budget and tight time line. Projection, live music, sermons and a cry room all come together for a unique worship experience!

Saint Francis of Assisi Church
A Gothic Revival cathedral, Saint Francis of Assisi Church was completed in 1892. Within their exceptionally beautiful space lies an 7500sq’ multi-purpose, divisible room often used for religious education of Franciscan Friars. In order to maximize the viewable screen space NYAV designed a system utilizing an 8000 lumen ceiling mounted WUXGA NEC projector, a 14’ tensioned Da-Lite electric rear projection screen, and wireless display technology all integrated into the existing multi-zone distributed sound system.

Sound Treatment

People attend a house of worship to be inspired, supported and provide answers to their life questions. In a traditional choral based, non-amplified setting, the demands on the acoustical performance of a space can be at odds with each other. While the music requires a lush, reverberant treatment, the spoken word can often be lost in a wash of echo. As congregants grow older and the use of hearing assist products becomes more prevalent, these contrasting needs are intensified. Sound bouncing from hard stone, gypsum, and marble surfaces competes with the echo and reverberant field, smearing the audio making speech intelligibility a challenge for the congregation. The message is lost.  Increasing the volume by turning up the PA system only serves to worsen the situation. The room becomes over excited without an escape hatch for the acoustic energy.

Video Wall

As houses of worship increasingly look for ways to engage members and attract new people, many are embracing a more visual approach in their service to inspire participation.

With more emphasis being placed on the entertainment aspects of worship, the cinematic elements of a service are becoming a distinguishing factor. The dramatic imagery provided by digital display technology can complement the sounds of a choir or band, captivating audiences, evoking personal experiences and creating a lasting impact with congregations.


Video wall configuration is accomplished through a web browser and a user-friendly GUI that easily facilitates setup of the display array, as well as display orientation (portrait or landscape) and bezel compensation. Creating a new system from scratch is just matter of a series of menu selections and mouse clicks.

A simple drag-and-drop functionality lets you visually lay out the display array, and then dynamically assign an input source to one or more displays on the video wall.
