For over 110 years, St. Josaphat parish in Bayside Queens, has been leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. NYAV was contracted to provide a very special service: Mounting eight Seervoreeler controlled retractable Schoeps microphones for The Choir of Trinity Wall Street, high above the 60’ domed cathedral ceiling, in the attic space housing the cat walk to the famous bell spire. Precision measuring instruments were used to determine the exact placement of the penetrations through the ceiling in this National Historic Landmark, so that the microphones could be lowered from far above when needed. We were honored to be part of this historic church.
